Step Inside Elite Media Solutions' Living Showroom

Our Showroom is Designed to Feel Just Like Your Dream Home

Most technology showrooms are built to sell equipment by showcasing rows of speakers, stacked receivers, and screens lined up side by side, usually under fluorescent lighting. None of those components, when displayed this way, provides any insight into how they would eventually blend into your own living room, kitchen, or backyard.

Elite Media Solutions designed our Wellesley showroom around a different idea. Instead of a retail-style layout with product displays and sales pitches, our space is a fully functioning smart home. Everything you see in the showroom is something we’ve installed in our own homes and vetted for performance. Below, we’ll walk you through what you can expect to tap, talk, swipe, and experience in our luxury living showroom, so keep reading.

MORE ON SHOWCASING EXPERIENCES: The Basement that Refined Family Living and Became the Ultimate Showroom

It’s a Smart Home Showroom, Not a Sales Floor

Standing next to a demo unit doesn't answer the question that matters most: will this fit into my lifestyle? A homeowner comparing lighting scenes and speaker specs on a printed sheet, or considering a custom home theater without movie-marathon-approved seating in sight, is left guessing about a hypothetical future experience rather than experiencing it firsthand.

The first floor of our showroom feels like a living room: KEF speakers tucked into a cozy sitting area, a Sony TV paired with a soundbar, and Dolby Atmos speakers built into the ceiling. Shades from Hunter Douglas move throughout each room, and Lutron control keypads can shift the mood the same way they would in your own house. Upstairs, a dedicated home theater and conference room round out the experience.

Experience Technology For Yourself Before Making Decisions

Luxury technology evokes emotion. Homeowners want to know how a lighting scene works, beyond just tapping a button. They want to see and feel how whole-home audio fills a room without touching a remote, and experience how it shifts from the morning routine to evening wind-down with Josh home automation handling it all with a single voice command. A spec sheet can't provide those experiences, and neither can a sales floor, but sitting on the sofa where the system runs everything can.

A Space Designed Around Needs, Not Products

Plenty of showrooms lead with brand names, but we lead with the lifestyle those brands support instead. The space isn't stocked to sell one particular speaker line or control platform, but is instead designed around how a family can spend time in a room, from a quiet morning coffee in the kitchen to a full house during the big game.

Our Showroom is a Reflection of How We Do Business

The showroom philosophy we have mirrors how we work with every client. The sales and design teams don’t recommend a system or solution simply because it's available or adds to the invoice’s bottom line. We recommend what we’ve already installed in our own homes, and we know our clients want reliable technology for themselves as well. We bring our white-glove approach to every consultation, whether it starts in the showroom or in your own living room.

Some showrooms can look like retail shops stacked with inventory, but ours offers something more useful: context. You can experience how lighting, audio, video, and other solutions integrate into everyday life, which simplifies the decision-making process and makes the final outcome more predictable.

That distinction matters more the bigger the project gets. A homeowner comparing a full-home lighting and shading package, or a first home theater, benefits from walking through a working example rather than piecing one together from photos and product pages.

What This Means for You

If you're considering a lighting upgrade, a home theater, or a full smart home build, seeing technology in person and experiencing it for yourself is vital.

Schedule a showroom visit or design consultation with our team, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
